Adventure & Elopement Photography

Based in NC, serving couples around the U.S.

Hi friend! I’m Megan, and I’m your adventure-seeking, national park enthusiast elopement photographer. If a big traditional wedding isn’t your thing, you’re in the right place. Or hey, maybe it is, but you want something different for your engagement photos, you are also in the right place. I’m here to help you remember the adventure of a lifetime with bright, bold photographs.

My love for photography was born out of my adventures traveling the United States. I have traveled to 31 of the 63 U.S. national parks, each time with a camera in hand. In 2020 I decided to leave my full time job in healthcare to pursue photography full-time, and have served dozens of couples on their wedding day since then.

Hey I’m Megan! Let's get to know each other.

NOW BOOKING 2025

I believe your wedding should be the best fit for you. Not everyone is meant to say I do in a ballroom with hundreds of eyes upon them. If you would rather spend your wedding day hiking up a mountain with your best friend and celebrate with a charcuterie board picnic, then let’s chat!

Frequently Asked Questions

My travel fees for the continental United States are already built into the pricing for adventure elopements, weddings, and sessions. There are no additional travel fees! I feel like this goes without saying, but you will have to cover your own travel fees.

Locations outside of the continental United States (i.e., Hawaii, Alaska, or international destinations) may require a slight additional cost as airfare will likely be higher. This will be worked out with the couple on a case-by-case basis.

Are there travel fees?

FAQ no. 1

I am based out of NC, but have experience traveling all around the United States visiting 31 of the 63 national parks (and counting!) All of my travel fees for the continental United States are included in my packages so that you don’t have to worry about hidden fees!

If you are inquiring about a wedding within two hours of Raleigh, North Carolina please inquire about local wedding rates.

Where are you based?

FAQ no. 2

Every wedding and session is different, but I typically provide 50-75 edited images per hour of shooting. This does not include hiking and transportation times.  I do the job of sorting through to find the best images for you, avoiding duplicates and less desirable images so that you don’t have to do that tough work yourself.

How many images will I receive?

FAQ no. 3

Hey, me too! The truth is, most of us are. I work with real couples, not models. That means every portrait you see here is someone I helped direct and pose, and I can do the same for you too.

We're awkward in front of cameras. Can you help us pose?

FAQ no. 4

Booking is simple: just fill out my inquiry form below, and I will reply within 24 hours. I'll send you some basic investment information. From there we'll schedule a free consultation. Once you're ready, just place a deposit and you'll be on the books!

How do I book you?

FAQ no. 5

We’ll talk about the likelihood of rain when we’re planning your session and try to find a time of year that is best suited for the location. However, rain (or snow, or hail) is always a possibility. I try to stay in the area for a couple of nights so that we can use a backup morning/evening if necessary. However, as long as the conditions are safe, I’m willing to endure a little rain if you are!
