Wedding Photography at Carver Lake

Back in April, Shereen and Andrew had a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception at Carver Lake in Prospect Hill, NC! The venue is just about 15-20 minutes north of Hillsborough, if you’ve never heard of the town before. The wedding venue was a beautiful barn under blooming oak trees and next to a peaceful pond. (Fun fact–the venue owners told us that they built the barn themselves just a few years ago!)

Like many other brides and grooms in the past couple of years, Shereen and Andrew actually got legally married a year before, but most of their friends and family could not attend due to capacity restrictions. Anyone who knows Shereen knows that she is a loving friend to many, and she wanted to celebrate with everybody! So about one year after their initial wedding date, Shereen and Andrew renewed their vows and celebrated with a BBQ dinner and dance reception surrounded by many friends and family!

It was an absolute pleasure to be the wedding photographer for such a sweet couple! Please enjoy these photos from their beautiful spring wedding.

Also fun wedding detail you might notice–this bride had three wedding dresses!! One dress was only worn last year but brought in to be photographed, and one was actually found and repurposed from Facebook Marketplace! I love when brides get to be creative and add their unique touch to the wedding details!
