Raleigh Wedding Venue
A few weeks ago I had the joy of participating in the Maxwell’s Fall Wine Tasting and Rentals Showcase. The Maxwell is one of Raleigh’s most premiere, modern wedding venues. This event was a laid back, cozy evening to display their wine beverage selection and showcase some of Raleigh’s best wedding vendors. In this post you’ll learn about the Maxwell and the participating vendors that you can hire for your own wedding. Plus, you’ll see some beautiful décor inspiration!

Décor & Design
The Maxwell wedding planning team wanted the evening to feel cozy, perfect for a cool fall evening sampling wines and hors d’oeuvres. The lighting was moody and dim, with elegant uplighting provided by Stylus DJ. I particularly loved the bright pops of color in the floral and linens, a nice break from the world of neutrals in which we typically live. One of my favorite elements was the ombré green table cloths, provided by Party Reflections, that curved their way through the center of the room.
Teacup Floral provided the flowers for the event. Bold blooms of primary colors paired with bright oranges and purples drew eyes to the center of every table. This gorgeous design reminds brides that you don’t have to be afraid to use color in your wedding. Bold colors can be elegant and beautiful!
Wine and Catering
Each guest was greeted with their own wine glass, perfect for sampling the Maxwell’s wide selection of wine. The Maxwell provides in-house bar services, making for one less vendor you have to find if you choose them for your wedding. Various stations around the venue allowed guests to roam about the rooms. Under the Oaks catering provided hors d’oeuvres to pair with their wine selections. All of their selections were so good! My personal favorite was the braised beef, though the pimento cheese biscuits weren’t far behind!
Music & Fun
In the first room guests were serenaded by violin music from Udeshi Hargett Ensembles while in the main room Stylus DJ played familiar upbeat songs. Guests were also able to snag a photo with their partner at the photo booth provided by Spark Photo Booth before the night was over.
I had so much fun photographing the Maxwell’s Wine Tasting and Vendor Showcase and meeting all of the amazing couples who were there! It was such an honor to photograph the event. If you’re looking for more information about the Maxwell or want to see a real wedding, check out the posts below:
