It’s All in the Details

Today I am sharing with you a beautiful styled shoot of a spring wedding at the Upchurch, a gorgeous wedding venue in Cary, NC. Wow, I am SO excited to share these! This styled shoot began as just an idea on a Pinterest board, but it ended as an amazing success thanks to an incredible team of vendors. I would recommend every one of them to couples getting married in the Raleigh-Durham area.

The color palette was mustard, sage, and emerald, on-trend colors inspired by spring. Victoria of Falling in Lovely Florals did an incredible job showcasing these colors through her floral arrangements, complemented by the burnt orange table cloths from Taylor’s Touch Rentals. Madeleine of Clover Paperie provided a custom invitation suite and menu that paired nicely with the florals. All the elements popped against the white walls and lush green lawn of the Upchurch wedding venue.

Planning the Event

None of us could have done it without Carina of Raleigh Weddings who planned the event. When I had the idea for a spring-themed styled shoot, I knew I wouldn’t be able to do it all myself, so I reached out to Carina, and she helped me pull this all together in just a month! Incredible. We couldn’t be happier with how everyone’s creativity came together to produce amazing results!

All of the details truly came to life with our beautiful models, who are a real married couple! Jasmine and Michael got married in 2021, but unfortunately their wedding photos by a different photographer turned out less than spectacular. This photoshoot was the perfect opportunity for a second chance! Ariel K Beauty did Jasmine’s makeup, and it was stunning. Jasmine and Michael wore their own dress and tuxedo, which I hope made it feel even more real for them. I love having a real married couple as models, because you can just sense the sparks between them. No acting required!
